Ride of Silence 2018
May 16 @ 6:30 pm - 8:00 pm
The Ride of Silence is a worldwide event commemorating those who have been injured or lost which cycling in the public roadway. Started in 2003, thousands of cyclists convene at hundreds of locations across the globe to participate in this silent ride. In the City of Los Angeles, 25 cyclists have lost their lives from 2016 – 2017, not counting the four recent tragedies in South LA and Woodland Hills.
For the third year in a row, we will be host a ride out of the North Hollywood Metro Red Line Station. The presentation will start at 6:30pm and as a show of unison across the globe, the ride will be leaving exactly at 7:00pm. This is a large ride and we’ve consistently had a media presence, so please arrive on time.
The ride will cover seven miles and all cyclists should bring a helmet and lights. RSVP below and show support for those we’ve lost.
