BEST Class: Bike 3 – Street Skills – Wilmington

Do you want to be more comfortable and confident when cycling on city roads? Have you taken our Bike 2 – Rules of the Road class and want to practice what you learned in a real-world setting? The Bike 3 Street Skills Class, presented by Metro Bicycle Education Safety Training (BEST) program, the Los Angeles County Bicycle Coalition (LACBC), and the City of Los Angeles (Wilmington) is a free 2.5-hour class for adults and teens to practice safe riding with a group of beginning cyclists. You’ll learn cycling etiquette, practice riding in a real-world setting, and make pit stops at local establishments to get refreshments.
All workshop participants get a free helmet and a set of bike lights!
Who Should Sign-Up:
If you are comfortable getting on a bike and want to gain more experience bicycling on city streets in a group setting. This ride will apply practical skills and critical thinking in real-world settings and will build off skills learned in the Bicycling Basics for Beginners and Intro to City Cycling classes.
