PARKING ALERT: Due to massive DWP construction in Griffith Park, parking will be severely limited for the River Ride. All available parking for the River Ride within Griffith Park is reserved for the family and kid's ride participants. 36, 50, 70 and 100 mile riders must park at the Disney Lot at 1625 Flower St., Glendale, CA. This lot is just over one mile from the start line, secure, and FREE for our participants. Directions to the Parking lot: From the 5 fwy exit at Western Ave, from Western turn right on Flower St. The parking lot will be on your left. See map. Be sure to check out this video.

Fundraise for the LA River Ride and Win Prizes

As the Los Angeles County Bicycle Coalition's biggest event and fundraiser, the Los Angeles River Ride is vital to introducing folks to our work and raising the necessary funds to make LA County a better place to ride. In addition to supporting LACBC through your River Ride registration fees, you can encourage your friends, family, and colleagues to donate to your ride and support LACBC's collaborative campaign to complete all 51 miles of LA River Bikeway by the year 2020. Imagine it: a completely car-free uninterrupted bike highway running right through the middle of Los Angeles, from Canoga Park to Long Beach!

The top fundraiser also wins a bike getaway to Tuscany, Italy, courtesy of VBT Bicycling and Walking Vacations! There are also prizes like a New Belgium Cruiser, a bike from DTLA Bikes, and signed copies of Where to Bike Los Angeles, as well as prizes for meeting certain fundraising minimums. Prizes are guaranteed for meeting fundraising minimums at the $100 (LACBC socks), $250 (River Ride jersey), $500 (access to the River Ride VIP tent and beer garden), $1000 (recognition at LACBC donor and supporter party), and $5000 (custom vintage cocktail mixology, tea ceremony, or dinner with our Excutive Director and Board President) levels.

	CENTURY (100 MILES) If you've never done one, this ride is the perfect time to try it. The profile is very flat, very few inclines and none of them steep. This year's Century ride will be a new path and much improved based on your comments. Registration opens at 6:00 a.m. Ride starts at 7:00 a.m. Park at 1625 Flower St., Glendale.
	70 MILE RIDE "Park to Playa" From Griffith Park to Aquarium of the Pacific, Long Beach, and return. Registration starts at 7:00 a.m. Ride starts at 7:45 a.m. Park at 1625 Flower St., Glendale. 70-MILE "Reverse Ride" Ride the River Ride in Reverse! Start and finish at the beautiful Aquarium of the Pacific in Long Beach. You will turn around at the Autry National Center. Registration will open at 7:00 a.m. and the ride will begin at 7:45 a.m.
	HALF CENTURY (50 MILES) From Griffith Park to the City of Paramount and return. Registration starts at 7:00 a.m. Ride starts at 8:00 a.m. Park at 1625 Flower St., Glendale.
	36 MILE TRAINING RIDE From The Autry to Maywood Riverfront Park and back. You'll spend 8 miles on the river path and detour through downtown for the remaining miles. Registration starts at 7:30 a.m. Ride starts at 8:30 a.m. Park at 1625 Flower St., Glendale. NEW! 25 MILE LONG BEACH LOOP Start at Aquarium of the Pacific in Long Beach and do a scenic tour of Long Beach. Registration opens at 7:30am and the ride begins at 8:30am.
	15 MILE FAMILY RIDE This ride is perfect for families as the entire route is on a dedicated bike path on the river. For ages 7 and up. Kids 12 and under ride for free thanks to the County Supervisors. All Children must be accompanied by an adult. Registration starts at 10:00 a.m. Ride starts at 11:00 a.m. Park in Griffith Park.
	KIDS' RIDE AND FUN FAIR Parents, teens, and young children are invited to the Family Bike Expo that features a variety of health and safety workshops designed to empower families who ride bikes. Teens and kids who complete our age-appropriate series of Education Workshops - led by Licensed Cycling Instructors - will receive a special certificate and prize. The Kids Ride is FREE and perfect for kids 3-8 years old who are still developing their biking skills. The ride will introduce young children to important bike safety lessons through fun, interactive activities. They will practice their riding techniques on a bike loop within the enclosed Autry Center parking lot through a series of obstacles, street signs, etc. Bikes and trikes are welcome - all riders must wear a helmet. Skuut push bikes will be available. Prizes and t-shirts for all registrants. Registration and festivities begin at 10:00 a.m. to allow families the option to also join the Family Ride at 11 a.m. Park in Griffith Park.**
