Thank You, Anthony Converse and Santa Monica Airlines!

Thank you to Anthony Converse of local skate shop Santa Monica Airlines who recently sold his car in order to donate $7,000 to LACBC! The morning of the Flight VS Bike showdown during Carmageddon weekend, Anthony spontaneously pledged $100 to LACBC via Twitter (in his first Tweet ever) for every minute that the Wolfpack Hustle cyclists beat the JetBlue airline passengers. Well, the bikes beat the plane by 70 minutes for a bigger blowout than most expected.

Anthony then sold his car and later presented a $7,000-check to LACBC at a press event with the Wolfpack Hustle and the Flight VS Bike race organizers in front of Tang's donuts. He ordered a 4-foot check but somehow received a 4-inch check instead. That tiny check is a pretty big deal.

Thank you to Wolfpack Hustle's Team A an all the Flight VS Bike race organizers! Thanks again to Anthony Converse and SMA for this very generous and unexpected donation! And if you've been in the market for a skateboard, support a local shop that supports you and your ride in Santa Monica Airlines.
