ACTION ITEM: Safe Expo Phase II Bikeway Urgently Needed

Thank you to everyone who has responded to our recent call to action! You all have sent in over 100 letters of support to make sure that Phase II of the Expo Bikeway is implemented to make riding your bike there safer.

The Expo Bicycle Advisory Committee met on the morning of Tuesday, August 21st, to discuss some of the design issues identified, including Pico/Gateway and Centinela. There is not yet consensus among Expo Authority staff that design changes need to occur. As LACBC works with Expo and other stakeholders, please continue to send in your letters to the Expo Board if you have not done so already. We will provide further updates as developments occur.
