A bicycling class for children ages 8-12

10:00 am to 12:00 pm
Class will start with helmet and bicycle inspection and fit. Students will learn basic bicycle handling skills: starting, stopping, riding a straight line, dodging hazards, scanning, signaling and turning, turning and yielding.
Students should already know how to ride a bike (preferably without training wheels). Students must bring their own bike, in good working condition, and a helmet.
Parents must attend class with their children so the parents can learn and reinforce the skills taught.
