Community Members
Do you live or work in Glendale? Are you interested in helping with the Safe & Healthy Streets Plan? Would you like to give your input and participate in upcoming activities? Community input and participation is welcome and encouraged, especially from those who live or work in Glendale. It’s up to you how much you want to do. Meetings will be limited to twice a year, one in the spring and one in the fall. We want this group to be less about meetings and more about actively engaging the community. Community Stakeholder Group members are needed to:
• Help to promote the Safe & Healthy Streets Plan and activities
• Recruit other community members and groups to participate
• Provide input and/or feedback regarding what should be in the plan
• Help run events and activities such as community bike rides, bike/ped counts, etc.
• Participate in community-wide input meetings to be held in the summer
• Contribute to the Safe & Healthy Streets web blog
