Happy Holidays!
We’ve had a great year for Glendale Safe & Healthy Streets in 2009. Our successes include Bike to Work Day, the History Ride, the History Walk, the Bicyclist and Pedestrian Count, and Sharrows on Grandview. All of this wouldn’t have been possible without the help and support of City Council and Staff, community and business leaders, and volunteers from Glendale and surrounding communities. Thanks to everyone for your support and your interest! We wish you Happy Holidays and a great New Year! We look forward to building on the successes of 2009 and invite you to participate in making Glendale better and safer for pedestrians and cyclists in 2010!
Mid-Winter Merriment Fundraiser for the LACBC
The Los Angeles County Bicycle Coalition will be celebrating a great year for cycling on Tuesday, December 29, 2009 at the Library Alehouse in Santa Monica from 11:30 am to Midnight. The Alehouse will be donating 15% of all revenue that day to the LACBC. As if that’s not enough for you to head to the westside, you could win one of many prizes including bikes from Dahon and Giant as well as gear from Vigor, Patagonia, Voler, and Chrome Bags!
