This postcard was handed out to all participants of the 2006 River Ride. On the back, it was addressed to Mayor Villaraigosa with the following text:

I'm a bicyclist and I ride the L.A. River bike path. I'm excited about the L.A. River revitalization plans for the completion of a continuous bike path along the entire river. In your role as Mayor and chair of the MTA, I urge you to fund additional segments of the L.A. River Bike Path and see that segments already funded are constructed without delay. I also support the City's current efforts to secure the remaining easements downstream of Fletcher Drive.
