GET INVOLVED WITH
LOS ANGELES COUNTY BICYCLE COALITION

There are many ways to be involved with LACBC! We need you to help us become one of the strongest bicycle coalitions in the county! Whether it's working directly with us or just riding your bike, every little bit counts!

Here are some ideas to get you started:

Ride More, Drive Less! Why drive when you can ride? It might sound simple, but just riding your bike locally to pick up something at the store or to visit a friend strikes at the core of what LACBC is about! Plus, riding your bike gets you outside, is great exercise, and can really cut down on those killer gas prices.

Become an Active member - be part of an LACBC Committee. LACBC Committees work directly on advocacy, planning, community building, fundraising and much more! This is where most of the LACBC's work happens! We need your active support.

Find out more about our committees and their meeting times and locations.

Attend an LACBC Board Meeting. The Board sets LACBC policy. Meetings are open to the public and are held on every THIRD Wednesday of the month for all months except December, 6:45 - 9:00 PM at 634 S. Spring St, Mezzanine level, Los Angeles, 90014. Every spring, board elections occur - all LACBC members are eligible.

Volunteer for LACBC and be part of the action as it happens: sign up to be a volunteer at upcoming events, in-office help, attend public meetings, bike valet, membership drives and more. Contact aurisha@la-bike.org

Volunteer or intern at LACBC headquarters! We can always use an extra hand at the office. There are also opportunities for students to gain course or intern credit. To find out more, email aurisha@la-bike.org or dorothy@la-bike.org

LACBC currently has several volunteer opportunities available.
